Guidance and support
The Postgraduate Society is a society that represents the academic, social, career welfare of postgraduate students in Strathclyde.
There are loads of reasons to get involved with SPGS whilst you are studying at Strathclyde. Not only is it the easiest way for you to meet other PG students, also make new friends and gain new skills. There are diverse people available within the society and externally who can assist your study and research. This support is made available either at the union or to the university.
The Postgraduate Society empasses typically Masters, PhD, and PGDE students, while undergraduate students and research associates are well represented too.
We as a society aim to provide an atmosphere to cultivate a strong sense of community among the postgraduate population at the University of Strathclyde, through a series of academic and social events for everyone to explore the university and the city.
