About

Please like us on Facebook for our latest updates!

The University of Strathclyde SNP Soicety has three main aims:

1. To represent and provide a meeting place for Strathclyde students who are members and supporters of the Scottish National Party (SNP)

2. To promote the values and policies of the party both within and outwith the university setting

3. To campaign for the interests of the people of Scotland and for our independence

We are a welcoming and active society of Scottish National Party (SNP) members and supporters originating from all across Scotland, with different ages, backgrounds and studying diverse courses at Strathclyde. Last academic year 2019/20 we held regular casual socials in the Strathclyde Student's Union and attended SNP and independence related events in Glasgow, including International Women's Day hosted by SNP Students, Glasgow March for Independence and Leave a Light on for Scotland.

For 2020/21 we planned to hold monthly socials at the Student's Union or other locations, arrange meetings with SNP politicians and campaign for the 2021 Scottish Parliament election. With the current situation there is uncertainty surrounding which of these we will be able to do or when, however we do hope to have virtual meetings and invite you to follow our Facebook page for the latest updates. Also feel free to message the Facebook page for more infomation or to say hello.

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all for the 2020/21 academic year!

Yours for Scotland
