The Strathclyde Telegraph is the University of Strathclyde’s only student newspaper. The whole paper is produced on campus by Strathclyde students from start to finish – and is now in its 60th year.

We meet on a weekly basis with room numbers or online - times to be announced on our social media pages.

On our Facebook Group -  Strathclyde Telegraph Contributors, which is open to any Strathclyde student regardless of subjects studied, we give out article pitches for our main sections: news, features, music, culture and sports. We also welcome 'off-diary' article ideas from our writers in this group.

We'll be around at Freshers' Fair and at our Media Welcome event. If you have any queries about getting involved in student journalism, please don't hesitate to join and ask us!

The main aims of the Strathclyde Telegraph are three-fold:

1. To provide a frequent outlet to inform students, and to cover cultural events of
significance in the university, the city of Glasgow, and beyond.
2. To act as a platform for students to gain valuable experience in submitting
and editing for print and online.
3. To serve as a social outlet and help enhance our members’ experience at Strathclyde.
