Hello! I'm Vicky, a 3rd year HR and BAT student. 

The past 3 years at Strathclyde have confirmed that business was the right degree choice for me. Certain characteristics of the course, have consolidated my true fondness of business, such as:

• The infuriating MDP
• Love/hate relationship of group-work
• Meeting new people
• Having a constant stream of essays (normally due at similar times) 
• Hardly ever being in the business building. 

Consequently, I want to be more actively engaged in the development of the business school which is why I've decided to apply for business rep. 

Do I have any skills? 

Yes ;) 

• I run Strath Street Care, a start-up club that creates and distributes hygiene packs to homeless individuals in Glasgow- aiding my leadership skills, responsibility and the innate ability of forcing people to come (they have a good time) 
• Not being scary, I am an approachable person and always happy to talk 
• Productive- I'm a very proactive and determined human, I will get the job done! 
• I am a dork, I go to all of the lectures and classes= commitment. 

Aims 

1. Improve the management between departments 
2. Prevent exams being so close together 
3. Advertise different career paths- not just PWC, banking etc 
4. MDP make it more useful (e.g. cv writing, interview tips)
