Have you ever felt the stress of entering the workplace? Worried that it truly is a mans world? This year in celebration of International Women's Day, join Strathclyde's Bright Futures society for our informal evening with women in industries. Ranging from Finance, Enterprise and STEM backgrounds, enjoy an evening of discussion with some of the prominent employers making progress for female development in the workplace. If you don't belong to any of these industries but wish to discover the opportunities available to you, come along! This event is all about encouraging females to overcome any fears and approach their professionals goals whole heartedly. This informal panel will provide an insight to the challenges and barriers associated with each role and the opportunities which are available from internships to graduate roles! Now is your chance to ask those questions you never thought you could! Free food and quality insight? Now that's female empowerment! To provide a greater contribution to International Women's Day worldwide, our visiting companies will be donating to the Malala Fund with 50% ticket proceeds additionally being donated.
Come along to hear real life experiences of overcoming the stigmas associated with male dominated industries from experienced professional females.
Tickets are £2.50 per person, which includes a food, refreshments and a donation to the Malala Fund to further encourage female empowerment globally.
We look forward to seeing you!
