About us

Aims

  • To give an insight to members about career opportunities and skills required to be successful within the Statistics space. Allow students to have the ability to meet individuals who have a specific interest in the field more passionately than other subjects.

 

  • A deeper more technical discussion of specific fields of Statistics. Will want to have guest speakers who have started their own companies from scratch but also professionals working in different sectors such as financial institutions and technology firms, Statistical companies and to give a deeper understanding of what is involved and how prevalent statistics is in society now.

 

 

  • To help students network with industry professionals, creating a strong student foundation who push and motivate each other to grow and develop. Would also like to motivate individuals in how and why Statistics can be a good career option , and further enrich knowledge on more specific topics and much more!
