Our Glasgow centre has 7 different games with a capacity of 55 players at any one time; ideal for friends, families, corporate team building or just a fun day out. We are looking for outgoing, focused, hard working staff with a good attention to detail to join our team as an escape room moderator.

Responsibilities and Duties

A Moderator’s role is:

•          to manage the customer experience during their visit from entrance to exit,

•          briefing the players to the game and rules of conduct,

•          setting the scene of the game (delivering the back story),

•          monitoring their progress and time in the game,

•          giving hints if needed,

•          re-setting the room after the game finishes,

•          keeping the venue tidy and in working order.

•          The role requires strong customer service skills, good communication & reliability.

•          Work is part-time shift based.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience of escape room moderation is not required however some knowledge of escape room games would be an asset.

Living in or near the City Centre is a must

Other desirable skills and qualifications include:

•          computer literacy

•          customer service experience

•          qualifications of Higher level or above

•          a disciplined attitude to team and teamwork
