See life from a different perspective. Active young disabled woman is hiring. Being PA to an active disabled person offers a unique opportunity to see the world from a new angle. You will assist with personal care, cooking, traveling and still have time to catch up on your reading.

The person you will assist uses a powered wheelchair and needs assistance with most physical tasks including all personal care. She uses a hoist for transfers for which you will receive training. Throughout the day you can help with the preparation of food, taking care of laundry and maintenance of equipment. She also needs you to be there when out and about, assisting with access to transport and all of the built environment. There can be significant amounts of down time when she is busy with a task or working and you must be able to occupy yourself during this time yet still be able to respond to her needs. This post is suitable for women and is exempt under the 2010 equality act.
