Youtube Content Creator

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

As a Youtube Content Creator with us, you'll work with the director and head of the digital marketing team to create engaging content for Won Connect’s users. You'll write and create engaging videos to share on our Youtube channel, our website and social media pages. This could include vlogs, short videos, interviews and other content pieces which drive traffic to our website and raise awareness of Won Connect and the people we are trying to help.

What will I be doing?

- Creating short, fun and informative videos about Won Connect and relevant learning content 
- Using Doodly and Canva to create content, editing the videos and making sure they are fit for purpose
- Liaising with the digital marketing team for scheduling video releases and making sure the content matches what we need it to do such as "How to…"

 

What skills/experience do I need?

- Experience using Youtube, video editing, Doodly and other image sources such as Canva
- Creativity - being able to turn a small, bland piece of information into an engaging and helpful video
- Good team working and communication skills

 

How much time am I expected to give?

We expect you to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week, with 2-3 of those hours being attendance to a virtual team meeting held every Thursday, however this role is fully flexible.

We are based in the Orkney Street Enterprise centre, although during Covid restrictions we are

running remotely and would expect volunteers to continue to help remotely.
