Interested in creating a more sustainable Strathclyde? This is the perfect opportunity for you! The Green Team is a student-led volunteering group that focuses on organising different sustainability campaigns and projects throughout the year, such as Student Switch Off, Fairtrade Campus, Bike for Good, and Love Food – Hate Waste.
Benefits to self
The Green team is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in leadership, teamwork, campaigning, finance and project management. It allows you to be involved with an exciting programme of events, training, activities, talks, projects and workshops, and meet likeminded people.
Benefits to others
You will be creating positive change for the benefit of our environment, the Earth, and the student community. As a student-led opportunity, what projects you try your hand at is entirely up to you – so the opportunities to make a change are endless!
