Strathclyde Sport Ambassadors

The Sports Union, in collaboration with the University and Strathclyde SPORT, are looking for individuals to assist with the provision of Recreational Activities and Opportunities on campus. Student Sport Ambassadors will help facilitate Competitive and Non-Competitive Recreational Activities and Opportunities for the entire student body. Student Sport Ambassadors are required to help with Freshers’ Week, assist with the delivery of Halls Sport and One-off Events. This can range from delivering sessions/fixtures in the new Strathclyde SPORT facility to leading fun-runs and other group activities. It is essential that you are available during Freshers’ Week (8th September – 15th September) to be considered for this role.

Training available

A comprehensive induction to the role will take place week commencing Monday 3rd September. The induction will cover everything you need to know about sports at Strathclyde, team building, and communicating with members of the public. Details will be sent to you by email.

You will be supported by the friendly team of the Sports Union staff and VPSW, as well as colleagues from Strath Union and Strathclyde SPORT.
