BAME Students Strathclyde Logo

BAME Students Strathclyde promote diversity while addressing issues regarding ethnicity and race that affect our student population, to break down barriers and battle against discrimination. It celebrates the richness and diversity of cultures here at Strathclyde, while helping students of different backgrounds meet and socialise.

Disabled Students’ Group (DSG) works with The University and the Union to ensure all students who have a disability have access to the best possible student experience that all Strathclyders are entitled to. The group offers peer support and information, as well as campaigns and social activities.

LGBT+ (including but not limited to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) exists to provide support for students who self-define on the LGBT+ spectrum, including queer, questioning, intersex and asexual students. They run social events and campaigns throughout the year, often with local LGBT+ societies and student groups.
