Engineering Faculty Winner – Kirsty Adam

In her fourth year studying Aero-Mechanical Engineering, Kirsty Adam is a force to be reckoned with. Despite her harrowing degree, she is in the RAF University Air Squadron as a stepping-stone on her way to being a successful pilot.

Whilst maintaining high grades, she is the president of Strath Surf, is on the British Army Enduro Mountain Bike Team as well as being actively involved and encouraging many other societies. Kirsty tries to get everyone involved and thrives to see others being successful. For example, she hosts events to enable individuals to try various sports such as trampolining and yoga and actively takes part in fundraising.

Here’s what Kirsty’s nominator had to say about her: 'She carries an impressive amount of responsibility. She embraces every opportunity that comes her way and is genuinely one of the loveliest people I know. She sets the perfect example that you can achieve your goals when you work hard enough.’
