The University of Strathclyde Sports Union (USSU), located in Glasgow City Centre, is the coordinating body for organised sport at the University of Strathclyde.

USSU is a constituent group of Strathclyde Students Union and integrated working partner of Strathclyde Sport, the University’s sport and recreation department. Together, we recognise the importance of an active lifestyle in both the experience that it provides our shared student audience as well as the positive impact that it can have on their wellbeing.

We are looking for a Freelance Student Sport Video Editing Assistant to collate, produce and edit the Sports Awards video presentation which will be used on our online social media.

 

role

You will liaise with Sports Union Club Committees in order to collate footage for the Sports Award video.  You will be required to work independently to edit the video footage, adding music and captions, in order to produce the finalised collection of Sports Awards videos.  You will work closely with the Awards Convenor and the Sports President in order to create a polished final product, which will be used on social media.

You will be a keen team player with experience of video editing and possess the ability to build strong working relationships with student volunteers, the Sports Executive and staff to ensure the production of an exceptional Sports Award video presentation.

We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and engaging individual with experience of video editing and student sport.
