Welcome to the University of Strathclyde Tennis Club!

The tennis club offers a diverse range of opportunities - competitive, development, and social!

If you're interested in being part of a competitive team, we train on Sundays from 7-9pm at Newlands LTC.  Throughout the year, there are various competitive opportunities. We have 5 BUCS teams (3 men's and 2 women's), development squad league, SSS tournaments (Scottish Student Sport) and club championships.

If your looking to develop your tennis skills, development squad training is on Sundays 6-8pm at Gorbals Leisure Centre.

For our social players, we have social tennis from 2-4pm on Wednesdays at Newlands LTC (outdoor).  At social tennis, we do various games and drills and have coaching for the second hour.  We also have recreational events throughout the year such as Alumni Day and Club Finals Day.

Any questions? Ask away, contact details to reach student committee members can be found on the email link on this page or find us on our social media channels to message us directly.

  • Personal accident and public liability insurance
