About Us

Strathclyde Volleyball club is a place to play and experience volleyball in Scotland like no other. With a range of abilities and sessions tuned to fit your skill level, this is the place to be if you want to begin your adventure into sport or to build on your past experiences and learn more from our countless qualified coaches.

We run recreational sessions every Friday, for individuals of all levels to come along and try the sport. These sessions are based around having fun and meeting new people based on their mutual love of sports. These sessions are run by our committee and they are always there to help out and answer any questions whether that be about volleyball or just life.

We also hold development sessions once a week. These sessions are for those looking to play in a more serious environment, wanting to improve their skills and learn how to play volleyball at a higher level. The participants tend to have hopes of making it on to the competing teams at some point. There are multiple qualified coaches on hand at these sessions to help you improve and refine your skills.

We currently have 2 Men’s teams and 1 Women’s team. We host tryouts for these teams at the start of each semester to give everyone a chance to show off their skills and prove they deserve to be a competing member of the club.

And remember at the end of the day. Live, Laugh, Love, Volleyball.
