About Us

Following a historic year for Men’s Basketball at the University of Strathclyde where we were named Strathclyde Club of the Year and won the BUCS Scottish Tier 1 League for the first time in 15 years we aim to continue to improve and grow this year.

At Strathclyde Basketball, we will aim to accommodate and promote all levels of basketball, through recreation, development, and performance. Our club successfully introduced a recreational league amongst other Glasgow universities and colleges and this year we are introducing a 3rd team for the first time.

Our development and performance squads will have access to multiple training sessions a week alongside the aim of creating strength and conditioning programmes for dedicated members.

The club aims to create more fundraising events for charities and organsiations close to our hearts whist remaining inclusive in an exciting and competitive environment.
