About Us

After a really successful year for Men’s Basketball at the University of Strathclyde, the club is looking to build on the progress we’ve made over the past few seasons.

Our 1st team are back competing in BUCS Scottish Tier 1 this year, while our 2s and 3s will be looking to build on some strong league finishes from previous seasons and push on again this year. 

At Strathclyde Basketball, we want to cater for all levels of basketball through recreation, development, and performance. We’ve previously introduced a recreational league involving students from other universities and colleges across Glasgow, and this year we’re hoping to grow our recreational set-up even further. Keep an eye out for more info!

Away from the court, we’re also looking to put on more Wednesday socials as well as fundraising events for charities and organisations that are close to the club.
