Dance

Hello everyone! We are Strathclyde University Dance Club.  

SUDC is one big supportive dance family that welcomes everyone with open arms. We offer weekly open classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, contemporary, commercial, and hip-hop as well as weekly technique classes too, for all students and alumni to enjoy. 

Alongside these, we also have our weekly socials on Wednesday nights and other wholesome get-togethers that give our members the chance to bond and have fun outside of the studio.  

We also have our comp team, this is where dancers train throughout the year and work towards competing in three competitions in Semester 2 (usually two Scottish, and one English competition). On our insta you can check out our comp teams amazing results! 

Last year we introduced our performance teams, Pteam is a chance for dancers to work towards something consistently throughout the year, without having the additional pressures of comp team. Last year teams had the opportunity to perform at sports games and events at the union – we hope to get even more fun and exciting performances lined up for the upcoming year! 

In Semester 2, we hold our annual show for our members to perform in a variety of styles of their choice. This is always a highlight of our year and is a whole lotta fun!
