Join one of the biggest and friendliest clubs the University has to offer! Strathclyde University Women's Hockey Club is always welcoming new members whether you are looking for challenging competition within the Scottish National or west district leagues, fun and healthy university rivalry during our BUCS fixtures or you are just keen to try something new and join our friendly social team, we have something for everyone.  

We train at Stepps Playing Fields on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening (each allocated to different teams) with teams competing on Wednesday and Saturday. We have four teams competing in the British University and College Sports league (BUCS) and 2 in the Scottish and West District Leagues. We also run a development team which provides a smooth steppingstone into a budding new hockey career. 

As we introduce our new Director of Hockey this coming year, we as a club are not only thrilled to welcome his expertise and knowledge of high level hockey we are also eagerly awaiting the new and exciting opportunities this will bring about, as the club continues to grow and improve under his new perspectives and ideas. 

As well as being a competitive hockey club we are also one of the most prominent social clubs within the sports union. From our weekly Wednesday after match socials to our formal nights out where we regularly joined by our male counterparts SUMHC you will make friends and memories for life.
