About Us

Korfball is a fast-paced and dynamic mixed-gender ball sport that originated in the Netherlands. As one of the only mixed-gender team sport at the University, we pride ourselves on being a social and inclusive club, both on and off court.

Believe it or not, most of us has never even heard of korfball before we joined, and now some of us are playing for Scotland! So don’t worry if you have no experience - just come along to one of our training sessions and see what we’re all about! New players are always welcome.

There are plenty of opportunities to play in matches from weekly league games to BUCS.

We train on Thursday evenings from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Strathclyde Sport followed by a fantastic get-together at the pub for some food and drinks, but most importantly, to allow players to get to know each other and have a blast! We also have an extra training session on Tuesday from 4pm-5pm for anyone who is extra keen.

We have a bunch of other socials planned throughout the year such as the ceilidh, games nights, karaoke, mini golf, ice skating and more!

Any questions? Ask away, contact details to reach student committee members can be found on the email link on this page or find us on our social media channels to message us directly.
