Netball

The University of Strathclyde Netball Club is one of the biggest clubs within the sports union with over 200 members joining in the 2022/2023 academic year. Our club has 4 BUCS teams which compete on Saturdays and 1 GNA team which can compete on either a Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. We also have a team within the national league which we won last season being the first team to ever win the league!

As well as our competive teams our club also has a recreational section which is constantly growing and is suited to everyone no matter your ability. Our recreational co-ordinators organise fun and interactive sessions getting everyone involved and also organise friendlies throughout the year playing against other universities. 

We have socials every second week which involve a fun theme and some fun activities before heading out. Throughout the year we also have other exciting events such as Christmas dinner, fundraising events, sports ball and the net-ball which are all amazing nights and shouldn’t be missed.
