About Us

The University of Strathclyde Men's Rugby Club are widely regarded as one of the best university rugby clubs in Scotland. "The Tech" 1st XV apply their trade in Men's Premier North 1, the second highest tier of BUCS Rugby, offering cross border competition with top English universities. The 2nd XV play in Men's Scottish Tier 2, with our 3rd and 4th XV playing in lower leagues of Scottish rugby, meaning there is a team for every ability and experience level.
"The Tech" have loads to offer as a club, whether you're a seasoned player looking to play in the famous Glasgow Varsity match, under the Friday night lights at Scotstoun stadium, or new to the game looking to lace up your boots for the first time, we welcome all!
Training is on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays with games on a Wednesday, followed by our weekly social.
