Intramural

Intramural Sport offers students the chance to play social but competitive sport, meet new friends and stay active. The Sports Union for 2024-25 will offer a 5-a-side football Intramural programme with the hope of additional sports soon.

We have availability for both male & female competitions however this is subject to demand as there must be a minimum number of teams registered.

What is the format?

4 tournament events across the year where teams will play a minimum of 3 games at each meeting. Points from each meeting will contribute towards an overall winner which will be announced after the last meeting.

How do I get involved?

Students can enter a team by representing halls, academic subjects, societies, sports clubs, or groups of friends.

Volunteering opportunities

If you don't have a passion for playing you can still get involved in the programme by adding to your CV by assisting with officiating, event management and much more. If you would like to get involved, please contact Lee Gallacher.
