A range of free activities on campus for students and staff where the emphasis is on having fun and being a part of #StrathLife

What is StrathACTIVE?

StrathACTIVE is one of the University’s active health programmes delivered in partnership between the Sports Union, Strathclyde Sport and Strath Union.

StrathACTIVE is an excellent way to be active, meet new friends, take a break from work and studying whilst improving your physical and mental well-being. With the support from various pots of funding our programme is totally FREE provides students and staff the opportunity to take part in accessible sport & physical opportunities. 

No equipment? No problem! Come along in comfortable sports wear and we will provide the rest.

Timetable

Most sessions take place weekly in Strathclyde Sport, the University’s £31m sport, health and fitness centre located at the heart of campus.

The programme typicaly runs term-time from September to December and then, January to April.

What's happening?

The programme has finished for AY 25/26 and will resume September 2026 for Semester 1 of AY 26/27.
