Cheerleading

We are a national championship winning Cheerleading club. With competitive teams in Pom Dance, Cheer, Stunt and Hip-Hop as well as both Cheer and Pom performance teams. We also have a Varsity team which performs at public events such as rugby and netball. There really is something for everyone. We welcome any level of experience, whether you’re an All-star or you have never cheered before!

If you enjoy cheer, dance, or gymnastics-based fitness training, learning award winning routines and new skills, making lifelong friends and attending fun socials, then Strath Warriors is for you.

Being involved in the local community is also very important to us and we have a strong focus on charity work through a variety of fundraising and volunteering events.

Our range of teams also allows flexibility for duration of study; if you’re only here for one semester, you can still join us! Being a student run club, we choreograph and teach ourselves all the skills required creating a fun and friendly learning environment: you won’t even realise you’re exercising. We cover a range of skills, from dance, jumps, stunts and tumbles as well as more technical dance-based spins. We encourage everyone to come and try, no matter your gender or experience as we guarantee you will find a type of cheer that suits you!
