The Graduation Fund will close for November 2018 ceremonies on 05.10.18.

The Graduation Fund is provided by the Strathclyde Students' Union and the University of Strathclyde to assist students who are financially disadvantaged to meet the costs of graduation.

The Fund was created primarily for students from widening access backgrounds, mature, disabled, carers and care experienced students to remove financial barriers and ensure they are able to graduate when their studies are completed.

What can be applied for from the Fund?

Basic essential costs for graduation can be applied for including the hire of gowns, costs for the graduation ceremony and other expenses including fees and travel costs which may prohibit students from applying for or attending their graduation ceremony.

Costs which may be deemed as added extras or not essential cannot be claimed through this Fund such as professional graduation photographs.
