Our Societies badges explained.

The Active & Engaged initiative rewards societies who go above and beyond to positively engage with students, Strath Union and the wider community.

Once a society has achieved either a Bronze, Silver or Gold Badge, it'll be displayed under the society's name on their webpage. The reasoning behind each badge, the criteria to meet and the prizes you can achieve are set out on this page.

The deadline for applying for any badges and mini-badges this academic year is Friday 5th April 2024.

Submit Application

Please note: Submitted applications will be reviewed by the societies team. At the moment, we ask you expect a turnaround time of 1 month from the date of submission.
