Meet Your Match: Glasgow East Women's Aid

What's occurring?

Come along to this event to meet Glasgow East Women's Aid (GEWA) and find out if volunteering with this charity would be the right fit for you!

GEWA are working towards the eradication of all forms of abuse towards women, children and young people and the structures that perpetuate them. They provide initial intervention & give information on services, legal rights, housing issues, benefit advice and on issues of concern for women, children and young people, as well offering counselling, refuge and support groups.

The event will start with a presentation from the charity, followed by a Q&A. This is your chance to find out more about ways you could get involved as a volunteer, who you would be working with, and what impact your contribution would make - or anything else you would like to find out.

Please register for the event by securing one of the free tickets above. You will receive the Zoom link in your ticket receipt. If you don't receive this email, or have any problems registering, please email strathunion.volunteers@strath.ac.uk.

Find out more about the wonderful work that GEWA does.
