Seasonal Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming and vibrant shop floor that excites customers. Your role is all about delivering fantastic customer service through product demonstrations and providing samples. Salary:
You'll be paid an hourly rate in line with the Living Wage Foundation’s rates, regardless of your age. Each month, you'll have the chance to earn a bonus based on year-over-year sales growth targets set by your manager.
Hours:
Your weekly hours will be set by your Manager, based on what the business needs are and your availability. If there are big changes in your availability or the business's needs, your contract hours might be adjusted.

The role of a Board member is voluntary and unpaid other than reimbursement of approved travel costs or associated expenses.
Hours:
We ask board members to be prepared to dedicate approximately 1 day per month to their role as a trustee and this would constitute up to 5 board meetings per annum. Board meetings typically last 3 hours and are held during office hours.
Interview:
Short-listed candidates will be invited to interview on 4th September. The successful candidate should be able to attend the Trustee Induction on 9th September and the next Strath Union Board meeting on 6th October 2025 at 2pm.

Pay details: We offer a competitive salary ranging from approx. £27,806.24 to £29,875.87 (pro-rata) per year which equates to approx. £15.24 to £16.37 per hour.
