Business Faculty Winner – Rebecca Watt
Second year Finance and Economics student Rebecca Watt inspires many with her passion and determination to achieve her goals. Alongside her studies, Rebecca is a class rep as well as being president of Strathclyde Economics society and secretary of Strathclyde Accounting and Finance Society.
One main achievement that ought to be noted is Rebecca’s involvement in the Business Ball this Christmas which is a mammoth task for everyone involved. She also plays the trumpet and trombone in various orchestras – it’s really unbelievable that she has any time to even breathe!
Rebecca’s nominator explains ‘I'm so proud and inspired by Rebecca, pursuing her goals and passions and not giving up. And her goals are high, she dreams of going to New York to work in business there. I believe if she keeps going the way she has been, there's no doubt she'll get there. I've really relied on Rebecca from the time we've met, she's a good listener and she really cares for others, making you feel valued.’
