Home Work Club Volunteer

The Whiteinch centre is a community organisation that works with a diverse range of individuals in the West of Glasgow. We offer a range of educational and recreational groups for people of all ages and, create an inclusive environment which strengthens positive relationships with the local community, bringing new perspectives and encourage people from all walks of life to use our services. As a Home Work Club Volunteer you will already have experience working or volunteering alongside children. You will be given the opportunity to work as part of a team in the centre's After-school Care Project. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and who already has a knowledge and understanding teaching principles and practice. Volunteers will need to have good interpersonal skills, such as patience, a friendly manner, and the ability to communicate with children, young people, colleagues and other adults such as parents and carers.
