Couronne De Fleurs Headband Making with Nephtali Couture

What's occurring?

Sorry this event is fully booked
If you can no longer make it, please email holly.shaw@strath.ac.uk so we can offer the place to someone else
Keep an eye out on the festive calendar in coming days for more craft workshops!

"Put on your crown and let us conquer the world". We are sooo excited to share our DIY kit, so that you can make your own crown and rock these bold colours! Sewing is Belocine's favourite thing in the world and in this festive season, she wants to share through this workshop the joy you experience when crafting and creating something from scratch."

Join Belocine from Nephtali Couture to make two beautiful African print headbands!

You will be making two different headbands:

  • the Couronne de Fleur headband (the fabric choice for this one is Toli, Esengo, Cheri, or Fololo [sold out])
  • & the Braided headband (the fabric choice for this one is Lisanga or Samakaka).

You can see the fabric here. Upon registering, please contact Holly Shaw (holly.shaw@strath.ac.uk) and state your fabric preference for both the Braided and the Couronne de Fleur.

Belocine will walk you through all the steps to make your very own beautiful headbands - no sewing skills are required as she will explain each step.

How does it work?

  • Book your ticket;
  • We will email you to decide which print you want;
  • We will post you your workshop kit.
    • The only thing you will need to provide is scissors - we will send everything else!
  • Join us on the 29th December to hear from Belocine and meet some fellow crafters.
  • The instructions are pre-recorded so you can enjoy it at your own pace after the workshop as well.
