What's occurring?

Sorry this event is fully booked

If you can no longer make it, please email holly.shaw@strath.ac.uk so we can offer the place to someone else

Keep an eye out on the festive calendar in coming days for more craft workshops!

Join Kate from Kate Colin Design for a fun and colourful workshop where you'll be introduced to the wonderful art of paper folding.

We'll explore several techniques, patterns and shapes and you'll be guided through the process of making some amazing three dimensional geometric decorations and homewares using just a few simple folds.

You'll finish the class with new skills, knowledge and lots of ideas for items to fold for yourself over the holidays.

A pack of high quality pre-cut paper and a tool kit will be posted to you prior to the class. All you need is a clean table!

Kit contains: a selection of pre-cut paper, plastic bone folder, a pencil, a scoring tool, ruler, needle and pre-cut string all packed in a drawstring canvas bag.

Testimonial

"Really enjoyed the workshop today. Fascinating to turn paper (flat, static) into such interesting forms so readily (lively, architectural surfaces which reflect light in different ways...). I'd love to lose myself in the focused accuracy and almost rhythmic nature of it." (Rowena, Edinburgh, Sept. 2019)
