Screening and Discussion: Black Power: A British Story of Resistance

To celebrate Black History Month, the Equality & Diversity Office will host a documentary screening on Black Power movement, followed by a discussion. Drinks and snacks will be provided!

What's occurring?

To celebrate Black History Month, the University of Strathclyde Equality & Diversity Office will be hosting a screening of the documentary Black Power: A British Story of Resistance, followed by a discussion. The film is an ‘examination of the Black Power movement in the late 1960s in the UK, surveying both the individuals and the cultural forces that defined the era’ (BBC).

Come along to learn more about this fascinating and moving part of history. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

University staff and students are welcome.
