10K Black Interns Information Session with Strath Interns Panel

Applications for the 10K Black Interns programme are open until the 13th of November 2022! 7000+ participating organisations from over 25 sectors have committed to offering internships to 10,000 candidates who are "Black African, Black Caribbean, Black British or of mixed heritage" over the next 5 years. 

This event is an opportunity to learn more about the programme and gain key tips on how to make your application stand out!

As well as this, there will be a panel discussion with our very own Strathclyde interns - Ebenezer Ummunakwe, Kevin Deffogang and Joshua Olaoye - who will share their experiences being interns through 10K BI:

• Kevin did his internship at Chenavari Investment Manager in the ESG team and is currently working at Bloomberg as a Data Analyst.
• Joshua completed an accountancy and finance internship at BNY Mellon London in the Investment Management division. He had the opportunity to learn more about the company and the investment management part of the business specifically in Distribution. Joshua later started his full-time role a couple days after his internship in markets with the eFX markets team and is currently enjoying his role and is taking the opportunity to learn and to also develop within the business.
• Ebenezer interned with PwC and is now in his final year at Strathclyde studying accounting and finance.
