Welcome to Strathclyde!
The University of Strathclyde Nigerian Society invites new and returning students to our Welcome Workshop for the 2026/27 academic session.
The workshop combines our Freshers’ Welcome, Orientation and Induction in one friendly and interactive session, designed to help new students settle into life at Strathclyde and connect with the wider Nigerian Society community.
You will have the opportunity to meet fellow students and the Society committee, receive practical information about settling into university life, learn about the Society’s activities and upcoming events, and discover opportunities to participate, volunteer and contribute throughout the year.
Whether you are new to Strathclyde, returning for another year, or simply interested in meeting our community and learning more about the Nigerian Society, you are very welcome.
Light refreshments will be provided, subject to availability.
Admission is free, but please reserve a ticket so that we can plan appropriately for attendance and catering.
