Strathclyde students enjoying a night in The Venue, smiling at the camera and holding drinks.

We run events year-round where you can let loose, let go, just throw a couple shapes and put your skills on show.

What's occurring?

This is Strathclyde Film Appreciation Society's first event to introduce ourselves and let the people know what we have in store for them. We will try and showcase movies from all across the globe representing different cultures to bring proximity amongst the diverse groups that come to study in Glasgow.

'Trainspotting' is a movie that was widely appreciated across Scotland and tells a story of a part of the Scottish Culture during the early 90s. For those who are completely new to this place, you will also get a taste of the famous 'Irn Bru' (although not the original recipe) alongside Pizzas. Again, at an absolutely no cost at all.
