StrathAIS Introduction Meeting

StrathAIS is the University of Strathclyde's largest student aerospace society. We are a team of students of varying ages and disciplines, all with a common interest for engineering and the aerospace industry. 

We have various projects on the go each year: Our rocketry team, who design, manufacture and launch a high power level 3 rocket at the IREC in Texas, USA each year. Our CubeSat team - STRATHcube - who are developing their very own 2U satellite, designed to detect space debris and analyse its own disintegration upon atmospheric re-entry. The team aim to launch this into orbit in the coming years with help from the European Space Agency. Finally, we have our student designed and built liquid rocket engine team, who are developing their very own liquid rocket engine to compete at the Race2Space competition in Buckinghamshire, England. 

We have so many valuable opportunities for Strathclyde students, and we are always keen to take on new members.
