AGM (Annual General Meeting)

In the AGM, an overview of the society’s annual report will be highlighted followed by the election of the next academic year committee (2023/2024) starting in September, as detailed in the Strath Union’s constitution.

The committee positions are:

President

Vice President

Treasurer

Secretary

To apply for a committee position/s then please email us at unionsociety-arab@strath.ac.uk with the following:

Full name

Committee position/s

Confirming that you will be a student in the next academic year (2023/2024)

Additionally, you have to prepare a speech which you will present (5 minutes maximum) in the AGM for the following question:

Why did you choose this role?

Please note that “Only Strathclyde student members of the society are entitled to vote.” - section 4 of the Strath Union’s constitution.
