Strathclyde University Chorus is a group of enthusiastic singers who are committed to improving as a choir whilst maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
As a non-audition choir everyone is invited to join us! We currently have student, staff, alumni and external members attending our two hour weekly rehearsals. We have around 40 members from different countries.
The first rehearsal of every month we normally run a “Baking Tuesday” with members bringing baked goods. We also follow some rehearsals with a trip to the pub. We hold events such as movie nights, karaoke nights and Christmas dinners and perform concerts every semester. The chorus has performed in various concerts alongside Strathclyde's other musical societies over the years. Our most recent performance was at the Strathclyde Proms in the Barony Hall!

During lockdown, a few members of the Chorus managed to put together a 'virtual' rendition of "Friend Like Me" from Disney's Aladdin. Check out the video on YouTube!
