About us

The EME Society aims to bring together students from all years of the EME course for academic collaboration, technical visits, social events and most importantly for interaction with industry and other academic institutions across the UK.

Some of our most popular and yearly occuring events are our:

  • Freshers Social,
  • Careers and Beers,
  • Company Sponsered Pub Quiz,
  • Themed Pub Crawl,
  • Foodbank Fundraising Social,
  • Ceilidh,
  • and Ladies Lunch.

With some of our previous site/tchenical visits being at Whitelee Windfarm, Tennents Factory or with Scotrail at Central Station.

From networking at our events many graduates from EME have went into many well known companies such as SSE, SP Energy Networks and Atkins.
