About us

Whether you’re a long-time SNP supporter, or you just interested in Scottish politics, we're the society for you

We’re here to bring young people together around a shared ambition: an independent Scotland, where decisions about our future are made here, not by Westminster governments we don't vote for. Independence is at the heart of everything we do - and only the SNP is committed to delivering it.

The reality is clear: the British political class does not serve Scotland’s interests. Labour, the Tories, and Reform all back a damaging Brexit Scotland rejected overwhelmingly. They all push extreme welfare cuts that hit the most vulnerable. They all sing the same tune, demonising immigrants and asylum seekers. They all refuse to end the UK's complicity in the genocide in Gaza. And they all work to block Scotland’s democratic right to choose its own future. Scotland deserves better.

Even with the limited powers of devolution, the SNP has delivered real progress: free university tuition, free prescriptions, free bus travel for millions, a fairer social security system, and the best-performing NHS services anywhere in the UK. All this has been achieved while facing relentless cuts from London - imagine how much more Scotland could do with the full powers of independence and a seat back in the EU.

So if you're interested in our fun weekly events such as pub socials, speaker's events and much more, all while campaigning for a fairer independent Scotland - join us for free below!
