We are here to help students and Alumni who are looking to work internationally in the future through advice/tips, where to look, and what to do throughout university to increase their employability!
Strathclyde International Employment Group is a student led society which has been created to assist current University of Strathclyde students and alumni in finding and applying to employment opportunities outside of their home country.
This is achieved through the sharing of resources about boosting one's profile for these positions through, for example, extracurricular activities which are internationally focussed and exchange opportunities. It is a society sharing information regarding on working and living internationally which we understand is a goal of many students here at Strathclyde!
We also host guest speakers who have experience of working internationally or recruiting international applicants, who can present some of their experiences and tips for students and alumni who are seeking to work internationally. While this is completely inclusive and will include information and speakers from all over the world, there will be special emphasis placed on U.K. professionals who have currently begun or already are working internationally due to Brexit-related issues and the mass uncertainty regarding this.
If you are interested in joining as a member or for a position within this society, please contact us by messaging our Facebook page or our email address - which are both listed on this page.
All the best, hope to interact with you soon
