Want to help build a wind turbine?
Our goal is to design, test and build a fully functioning wind turbine for educational and environmental purposes. You don't have to be in an engineering related course to take part. If you're interested in this project, and would like to learn more about renewables in general, feel free to come along and help out where you can!
We are currently focusing on three main areas:
As well as exploring other aspects such as research, computing, and school outreach.
If you are interested in joining, contact us at unionsociety-renewableengineering@strath.ac.uk or through our facebook page.
We will be having our next meeting on Thursday the 9th of March at 5pm in JW410 - computer room in James Weir.
