DMC Fitness are looking for a dynamic and eager student studying in a marketing related discipline to become our new digital marketing assistant and help take the brand to the next level.

DMC Fitness is a gym like no other, located in Glasgow's busy West End. We have a team of 5 trainers who specialise in creating life changing physical and mental transformations for their successful professional clients. The business is looking to grow going forward, offering online training and services that we would like you to play a part to innovate.

Should you be successful in applying for the role, you would be reporting to our Digital Marketing Specialist directly, and assist him in, internal and external marketing, content creation, social media and SEO.

Training will be provided for this position but some prior experience, either academically or professionally, would be desirable.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Creating and scheduling social media content
• SEO link building outreach
• Optimising the Youtube page for SEO
• Compiling blogs in Wordpress
• Creating help sheets, ebooks and other published content
• Some Transcriptions of videos and audio

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

• IT skills

Desirable

• Social Media, specifically Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
• Use of post scheduling software (Hootsuite, Social Bee)
• Use of email campaign software (Campaign Manager, Autopilot)
• Experience in using Google Analytics, Search Console and My Business
• Wordpress page creation and optimisation, including correct use of metadata, and tags
• Knowledge of health and fitness.
