Arc Marquees - Scotland’s premier marquee company are now recruiting and we are looking for hard working candidates to join our team for the busy summer season.

This is a temporary position with immediate start lasting through until the end of September, although we may have the potential for full time employment, come the end of the season.

Work will include having to work long and unsociable hours, including weekends and bank holidays, days/working weeks can be long can long.

Successful applicants will need to have a good level of physical fitness, enjoy working outdoors no matter the weather, be presentable and reliable, with good communication skills, and the ability to think on their feet. They will also be able to show initiative and work as part of a friendly and focused team.

Work will include the erection and dismantling of structures, maintenance of equipment, as well as warehouse/yard work.

Hours vary greatly, often exceeding 48 hours per week including weekend work.

Work will be mainly throughout Scotland, but occasionally across the rest of the UK.

Some work may require staying away from home – accommodation and meals will be paid for.

Competitive rates off pay start from £9.50 per hour, although alternative rates off pay are available for those with previous experience, Full drivers licence or forklift experience

Candidates must be 18 or over, and be able to travel to our yard in Bathgate (EH48 2EP) for 6:30am starts each morning.

No previous experience necessary, as on-job training will be given.
