Do you satisfy the Civil Service Nationality requirements?
This means broadly the following groups will be able to work in posts within the Civil Service:
nationals of Commonwealth countries who have the right to work in the UK
nationals of the Republic of Ireland
nationals from the EU, EEA or Switzerland with settled or pre-settled status or who apply for either status by the deadline of the European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS)
relevant EU, EEA, Swiss or Turkish nationals working in the Civil Service
relevant EU, EEA, Swiss or Turkish nationals who have built up the right to work in the Civil Service
certain family members of the relevant EU, EEA, Swiss or Turkish nationals

No qualifications are required for this internship
£18,514.00 - £27,200.00 per annum. (London weighting for some roles)
35.00 hours per week.
If your written application is successful, you will be invited to a 30 min video interview where you will be asked questions by two or three people. The purpose of the interview is to assess your experience and suitability for the role.
The internships are one year fixed term contracts, with the possibility of extension.
The UK Government’s Department of Education are offering a number of PAID internships this year. Last year over 250 Care Leavers were offered internships.
The internships are set a two levels; Administrative Officer (salary £18,514 per annum*) and Executive Officer (salary £21, 170 per annum*), and spread across 74 locations nationwide including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Falkirk. *London salaries may be higher.
No qualifications are required for this post. These roles may suit a recent graduate, or gap year student.
Applicants must be both in receipt of a care package, and be aged between 18 - 30 on the 31st of December 2021.
