Details

Cleaning of office and training facilities at several different locations in Glasgow as part of a team of two. You will be working alongside a trained and experienced cleaner to conduct regular cleaning. The working hours are perfect for those looking to complement their studies. 

Applicants must hold a driver’s license as driving the team to each location is a requirement.

Working days: Monday-Friday every week
Working Hours: 16:00-20:30 (22.5 hours a week)
Pay: £8.95 per hour (£201.38 per week)
Additional Information: Expenses such as travel time & fuel costs are covered
Company: Hygienic Disinfection Services t/a Sanondaf Facilities Management
Training: On the job training (Any training shifts will be fully paid)

 

Main purposes of
job

The job will entail cleaning various buildings on a
regular basis to the highest standard

Key tasks

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bath-tubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Washing windows
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacu-ums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Keeping bathrooms and other facilities stocked with supplies (such as soap and water dispensers)
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste.
  • Tidying up rooms

Key
results/objectives

  • You will be working as part of a team or on your own to provide a consistently high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
  • You may come into contact with customers so it’s important that you are able to assist them if needed.
  • It is essential that you complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.

Responsible for
staff/equipment

  • Monitoring cleaning supply levels
  • Reporting any repairs or replacements
  • Reporting faulty equipment
  • You will adhere to health and safety legislation at all times.
