We are looking for highly motivated Residential Childcare Workers to provide our children and young people with complex needs and attachment disorders with love, care and understanding.

   

To join us as a Residential Childcare Worker, you will:

According to our young people:

Be fun, like music, listen, care, be friendly, be kind and enjoy swimming.

   

According to us:

· Demonstrate an understanding of our vision, values and ethos.

· Be highly motivated and have a genuine interest in caring for vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

· Qualifications: a SCQF level 7 or above is desirable however is not essential.

· A full driving licence is essential.

    

In all Curo Salus Residential establishments the young person is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to safeguard and promote the individual welfare of all children and young people in our care. We involve our children and young people in all aspects of their care ensuring that it is their voices that shape the care they receive.

    

This post is considered Regulated work with Vulnerable Children, under the protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made.

    

This position also requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC.

    

If you are shortlisted for interview you will then be asked to attend an initial screening interview that will be based on our organisational values and learning about your values.
