At Homecare Scotland, we provide quality in-home care and support to our clients ensuring they feel both safe and comfortable in their homes. We are currently looking an experienced care worker to facilitate a current client based in Thorntonhall with:

• All aspects of personal care, washing, dressing etc
• Assistance with food prep and feeding
• Medication administration
• Passive exercise
• Moving & handling
• Socialising

Essential Criteria

• Experienced caregiver
• Driver with own transport (public transport limited in Thorntonhall)
• Free to work 15-20 hours a week

At Homecare Scotland, we provide on-site training for the skills you’ll need to look after our client, and take care of your SVQ, SSSC, and PVG requirements to give you the confidence you need to provide the best care possible.

The Client:

• early 30’s living with cerebral palsy and brain injury. Lives in family fully adapted home
• Mobility issues, hoist and wheelchair user
• Own transport
• Enjoys social outings, shopping, bowling etc

We provide our carers with benefits such as:

• Hourly rates  between £11.75 - £13.00/hr
• Holiday pay added at 12.07%
